You might think that getting a foot in the door of potential clients is a difficult process, but it isn’t. Our geofencing technology is the best on the market. It has superior levels of accuracy, unprecedented reliability and 8 fail safe settings, which makes compelling grounds for ‘decision makers’ to adopt this incredible safety solution.

In our experience the real challenge starts when the technology is rolled out to the workforce. They can be reluctant to embrace the device with blind faith, it’s yet another change to their routine and they are understandably suspicious about being tracked. This is why around 70% of change initiatives fail - low buy-in from the shopfloor. Our mission is to save lives through technology, but if there is limited adoption of our products, then we cannot achieve our goal. So we blend the logic of technology with the emotion of humans to make our products ‘sticky’.

We start by building trust. Initially, with Tended, who have phenomenally talented people, dedicated to our mission. Then, with evidence that the technology is a friendly, real-time ‘tap on the shoulder’ that improves personal safety. Finally, by demonstrating that the data collected will be put to positive use for safety improvements and improving the organisation's safety culture.

Our engagement activities are also designed to incrementally increase personal value. This is primarily based on a feedback loop between the qualitative experiences of workers and the quantitative data analysis.  Each provides the other with valuable insights and discernible patterns to build on the emotional connection to safety autonomy. Both trust and personal value are the building blocks for nudging workers into making the discretionary effort needed to persist with the changes until they become habitual.

At the same time, we make the most informed choices for new features and functions based on real-life usage, so that workers have a degree of influence and ownership of upgrades. Tended doesn’t just make remarkable safety technology, we go the extra mile to give our clients a full implementation strategy, so that we can all achieve our safety goals.
