This week we are delighted to announce the newest member of the Tended team - Cat Dulake!

Cat joins us as a dedicated Customer Success Manager, leading on all things support, helping ensure our users have an amazing customer journey as we scale up deployments. Bringing with her a wealth of experience in learning and development, she will be working closely with our customers to maximise the benefits of Tended’s system, tailoring our service to everyone's unique safety needs.

We took five minutes out of the day to chat with Cat to help everyone get to know her a little better...

What will you be doing/be responsible for in your new role at Tended?

As Customer Success Manager, I will be developing post-sales engagement strategies to ensure our users' success across the customer lifecycle and build customer advocacy. I'll be communicating directly with our users to give proactive support, ensuring any feedback is heard and acted upon to provide an exceptional customer experience for Tended users.

How do you think the work Tended is doing will impact the railway industry?

By having such an emphasis on behavioural science, it’ll be great to see an increase in engagement with Tended's wearable safety tech across the railway industry. Seeing this solution become the ‘norm’ is really inspiring and will be massively impactful in preventing trackside accidents.

What are you most looking forward to about working at Tended?

Working in a company that truly values the consumer and keeps behavioural science at the forefront whilst creating methods to inform and engage the user. Also tapping into everyone’s knowledge and specialisms so I can build my understanding of all things Tended!

What motivates you at work?

People! Managing change to improve the working lives of customers and colleagues. I love learning how people think and using this knowledge to interact with individuals in the most effective way possible.

What’s going to be the most exciting part about your job?

Working closely with our end users to understand them and the tools they need to effectively use Tended’s product. Also, building relationships with the customers and creating tools that will genuinely benefit them when working in high-risk environments. I’m so excited to watch engagement with the product increase as the business grows!

Do you have any pets?

I have a Staffy cross called Ronnie and have a camera roll FULL of pictures ready to show to willing (or unwilling) participants!

What do you like to do in your spare time?

Recently, I have started volunteering at Three Counties Dog Rescue - not glamorous but very rewarding!

How would your friends describe you?

I asked some friends for insight on this one, and some of the answers were...

‘Kind, thoughtful, organised, caring’

‘Incredibly organised, great listener, great at giving advice’

‘Generous, supportive, Brian May’ (it's the hair)

What’s something you’re proud of doing in your lifetime?

I love a bit of fundraising! At work during the covid mayhem, I organised a virtual pet show for 400 colleagues and raised over £1000 for the dog rescue where I adopted Ronnie. More recently, I planned a 20km Wolds Walk with a group of friends and raised £1000 for breast cancer charity CoppaFeel!

It's fantastic to have you with us, Cat!
